#34 | the Drumlord – Sons Of The City

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]With thousands of releases floating around on all these platforms you sometimes miss the real gems. So as I clicked myself through Spotify I stumbled upon the Drumlord, a beatmaker from Hungary who’s releasing on Blunt Shelter. His instrumental album “Sons Of The City” has dropped on February 5th, 2018. So it took me 365+ days to finally hear this jazzy lofi boombap masterpiece. As his name implies he knows how to make the drums sound and feel right. But also the basslines, the samples and the additional synths – All elements have their space, well arranged and properly mixed. Highly recommended sh*t!

For all those wax fanatics: The limited Vinyl LP is still available on HHV and VinDig.

Favorite joints: “Prism”, “Machines of God” + “Shelter Jazz”.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The Drumlord on Facebook / Blunt Shelter Records on Instagram[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
